The 2018 Walk For Animals & Furry 5K

Animal Allies Humane Society presents the Walk for Animals & Furry 5K happening Saturday, June 2nd at Bayfront Festival Park. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m.

As the largest pet & famiy-friendly event of the Summer, this event attracts more than 500 human participants and their companion animals. Due to Lakewalk construction requirements and the safety of our guests, this year's route has changed slightly.  We will be following the Bayfront Festival Park around to Rail Road Street, taking the Superior Hiking Trail down towards 21st avenue west onto Lower Michigan street. Check out the map of this year's new route!  At Bayfront Festival Park there will also be an agility course, vendors, family activities and contests held throughout the morning for cutest puppy, silly pet tricks, and more!

Participants raise money with donations from family, friends, and co-workers. Register online to start your fundraising efforts and encourage friends to join in the fun! Fundraising can be done in person or shared online through your participant page - use email, social media, or whatever way is best for you. Paper donation tracking forms are available by calling (218)-722-5341, or download online at www.theWalkforAnimals.net.

Participants who raise $40 or more receive a special event t-shirt and those who raise $100 or more also receive a bandanna for their pet (t-shirts and bandanas are on a first-come, first-served basis).

Participants who raise over $300 in pledges will be honored at the event as a Grand Marshal. Grand Marshals will be entered to win drawings for special prizes and receive a professional photograph with their pet taken the day of the event!
